The Garry Oak Gallery’s November featured Artist is Joan Brosnahan. A long time artistic presence on Whidbey Island, she is not only a creator of fine art, but also a teacher and counselor to other local talents, collectors and supporters.
An award winning artist, Broznahan uses a variety of watercolor and collage techniques to produce the strong, intense colors found in her work. “Broz,” whose artwork varies from realistic watercolors to vibrant abstract collages, is a member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, the Northwest Watercolor Society and the Skagit Art Association. Her work has been purchased by local, as well as international and corporate clients.
If you would like to meet “Broz” and talk with her, she will be at the Garry Oak Gallery, 830 SE Pioneer Way, in Oak Harbor, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14.
