Monday, Aug. 3

At 12:49 a.m., a caller at the Island County Jail reported that a woman couldn’t remember where she parked her car.

At 12:09 p.m., a Riepma Avenue resident reported that her dog bit her and she wants to euthanize it.

At 5:36 p.m., a driver reported seeing two goats in a ditch on Gilbertson Road.

At 9:44 p.m., a West Beach Road resident reported that “Gay Steve” was sending her inappropriate and harassing messages.

Tuesday, Aug. 4

At 1:19 p.m., a caller reported that a man in a blue Kia near Deception Pass Bridge was slamming an elderly passenger’s head into the dashboard.

At 3:38 p.m., a man called 911 and spoke about being a sex offender and corruption in the sheriff’s office. He said he should go into hiding.

At 3:53 p.m., a Monroe Landing Road resident reported that someone put a bag with dog feces in her mailbox.

At 8:52 p.m., a caller reported that kids assaulted someone in a driveway at Whitney Drive. The group of about 20 kids all ran away.

At 8:58 p.m., a caller reported that a stray cat was stuck inside the Kingfisher bookstore in Coupeville. The cat was scratching at the windows in distress.

At 9:18 p.m., a Dugualla Road resident reported that two people punched her house and beat her.

At 11:09 p.m., a Terrace Drive resident reported that her husband strangled her.

At 12:10 p.m., someone on Scott Road accidentally called 911. The dispatcher heard people talking about skateboards and working out.

At 9:42 p.m., a Cedar View Drive resident reported that “black ops” people were on his roof.

At 10:16 p.m., a Sonic Lane resident reported finding footprints all over the house. The caller was worked that people are hiding in beds or mattresses.

At 10:46 a.m., a man reported a case of llama neglect on Cascade Place.

At 1:55 p.m., an Mountain View Road resident reported that kids were throwing rocks at his RV.

At 3:31 p.m., a veterinarian reported that he was trying to catch a rabbit with an arrow in its head with a net gun on Riepma Avenue.

Friday, Aug. 7

At 11:55 a.m., a woman on Murdock Road reported that a neighbor was sending her elderly father profanity-filled emails.

At 9:21 p.m., a Stephen Street resident reported that a rabbit was running around with an arrow in its head.

At 10:33 p.m., a Roxlin Drive resident reported that neighbors “got snotty” and were “uppity.”

Saturday, Aug. 8

At 9:36 a.m., a caller reported that a rabbit with an arrow in its head was hopping around Stephen Street.

At 2:28 p.m., a Landsend Road resident reported that his father-in-law’s ex-nurse who extorted money from him is now threatening to kidnap him.

At 2:46 p.m., a caller reported that a dog went over the cliff on Scenic Heights and is stuck.

At 2:49 p.m., a man reported that his pet conure bird is in a tree at the Coupeville dump and won’t come down.

At 6:47 p.m., a Vine Maple Lane resident reported that her microwave is going and won’t stop, even after she unplugged it.

At 10:23 p.m., a Izett Street resident reported that a tall man in a gray sweatshirt was peeking in the window.

Monday, Aug. 10

At 8:29 a.m., a resident if Osprey Road reported that hawks and osprey were attacking the chickens. The resident asked if he could shoot them.

At 5:29 p.m., a caller reported that an employee at a View Ridge Drive location moved a dresser and found inappropriate photos of young girls.
