Nobody was injured in a car fire on Goldie Road May 12. The driver of an Audi pulled to the shoulder and exited the vehicle after noticing something was wrong. The fire rapidly consumed the car, but firefighters from the Oak Harbor Fire Department were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
