Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce is accepting donations of soda, water and condiments for the annual Military Appreciation Picnic.

The event, which honors the community’s military personnel, is noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Windjammer Park.

During the picnic, the chamber will be handing out free food and drinks, said Hannah Marth, a chamber associate.

There will also be live music and children’s activities.

“We are so excited to honor our military personnel and their families,” Marth said in an email.

Anyone interested in donating to the picnic can drop donations off at the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce by Thursday, Sept. 8, or call the chamber at 360-675-3755 for information.
