Updated copies of the CAPF Resource Guide are now available for distribution through Whidbey Island. Boeing donated all the costs for printing 10,000 copies of the 8-page guide. The resource guide is a complete listing of agencies and programs available that provide support to individuals and families. Programs cover everything form adoption resources to youth runaway services; all schools are listed as are services for senior citizens. New to this year’s guide is information covering transportation and ethnic resources.

The resource guide is a program of Freeland-based Child Abuse Prevention Foundation. Major financial support comes from Island Thrift and other local donors. Resource guides are provided free to Whidbey Island agencies, schools and libraries. To request a copy, call toll-free (877) 331-7343. The resources are listed at www.wiCAPF.org.
