Coffee Break BIBLE STUDY will start the new year with a five-week study entitled “The God of Second Chances” based on the Old Testament book of Hosea.  Through this prophet’s experience, they’ll look at the amazing story of God’s love for an unfaithful and hard-to-love people. They’ll come to see that, no matter how imperfect our human relationships may be, there is a God who loves, accepts and forgives us. This study meets weekly 10-11:15 a.m. Thursday mornings at the Oak Harbor Christian Reformed Church, 1411 Wieldraayer Road. Coffee Break is a non-denominational small group Bible Study that is open to all women in the community, and no previous Bible knowledge is needed. YOUTH ACTIVITIES at Coupeville United Methodist Church are at 5 p.m. Sundays. There are games, music, crafts and Christian education. Special activities are planned for taking the teens to beaches, forests and other activities. All youth grades six through 12 are welcome; they don’t need to have an affiliation with the church or attend any church.
