Police raided an Oak Harbor home Sunday morning and arrested a suspected drug dealer who was out on bail from another drug bust, according to Oak Harbor police.

Michael “Cupcake” Koepke, 26, was arrested on suspicion of felon in possession of a handgun and dealing methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana, according to Detective Sgt. Teri Gardner.

Koepke posted $200,000 bail over the weekend. At a hearing Tuesday on another case, the judge ordered that he be held without bail.

Oak Harbor police arrested Koepke last November after he was caught with $40,000 worth of heroin, meth, cocaine and pot, according to court documents.

Prosecutors charged Koepke in that case, but was released from jail after posting $100,000 bail. The case is still being adjudicated.

In the recent case, Detective Carl Seim obtained a search warrant for the home on North Oak Harbor Street after conducting “controlled buys” of illegal drugs.

The police high-risk entry team, a Naval Criminal Investigative Service agent and Chief Ed Green served the search warrant at 6 a.m. Sunday.

Gardner said they seized nearly $10,000 in cash and a handgun, as well as suspected meth, cocaine and marijuana.

“He’s unemployed and had $10,000 in cash,” Gardner said.

She said they also found additional magazines for firearms, including three from an assault rifle.

Gardner said the police also arrested 19-year-old Kaitlyn Raavel, who was living at the home, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm.

Green said that Koepke has a significant criminal history and isn’t allowed to possess a firearm. Koepke was released from prison in March of 2012 after serving three years on meth dealing and marijuana possession charges.

According to Oak Harbor police, he was able to jump right back into drug dealing.
