As a new resident to Whidbey Island from Scottsdale, Ariz., I am impressed by not only the beauty of the climate, but also the phenomenal people.

Thank you to our realtor, Rick Chapman of Caldwell Banker, and his family for an-over-the-top introduction and warmest of welcomes to the island. We are forever thankful that we met these good, kind people who have shown us much more than the homes for sale.

Dr. Mark Duncan, who has treated our family members with expertise and compassion, resolving a health issue that had lingered unnecessarily due to misdiagnoses. We are so impressed with his knowledge and genuine interest in our family’s health. Thank you, Dr. Duncan, you are already the best doctor we have ever had.

Best Friend’s Veterinary Clinic, who quickly and humanely helped end our dog’s suffering and then sent flowers and a condolence card.

Debbie with the red barn at Walmart, who saved my bad mitten set, which I forgot to put in my cart, until I returned for it.

Our new experiences with the people of Oak Harbor have been impressive. Thank you for showing us what a great community we have chosen.
