I have had a small auto shop at my home for several years, but wanted to make it better by building a shop on my property close to the Keystone Hill Road. I have been in the auto repair business since 1953 and owned a business for 18 years in California. I am a certified mechanic, auto machinist and welder, and can repair farm machinery.
I wanted to hire a person to train in the business after I am gone due to my age. This I thought would help pay my taxes on the 86 acres that my father bought around 1916.
The county has given me much paperwork and expense, so I won’t be able to continue with this project. I am going to be forced to sell most of the property due to the county’s greed. I spent four years in the South Pacific during World War II and was hoping to make things better here, but the county only thinks of themselves. Too bad.
