Island County next month plans to hold a 90-minute workshop explaining changes in evaluation criteria for tourism-related groups to receive lodging-tax revenue.

Several guidelines in the local review process have changed, the county said.

The workshop is 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, in Island County Annex Building, Commissioners’ Hearing Room B102, 1 NE 6th St., Coupeville.Anyone attending the workshop and wanting an advance copy of the 2016 Lodging Tax Advisory Committee program policy should contact workshop facilitator Rex Porter at portergroup@whidbey.net
