Draft comprehensive plan documents will be discussed by the Board of Island County Commissioners at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17. during the board’s regular Wednesday work sessions in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room in Coupeville.

The board will mull over the submittal of the draft comprehensive plan documents to the department of commerce for 60-day review and community review and input.

County planning staff is asking the board to place approval of the drafts for submittal on the Tuesday, Aug. 23, regular meeting at 10 a.m.
