Youth workshops
Coupeville Arts Centeris offering summer youth workshops in wood carving, painting, drawing, metal art and innovative sculpture. Classes will be available for young artists age 6 and up, in July and August.
July 5-9, Celebrate holidays with Bridgit Smith will be art, song and stories for ages 6-8.
July 19-23, Drawing and painting with Mary Ellen O’Connor is a variety of media for ages 8-15.
July 20-23, Fire and mud with Michael Terra is clay sculpture and fun for ages 10 and up.
•July 26-30,Beginning woodcarving with Joseph Albert will teach carving for ages 11 to 14.
Aug. 2-6, Kids art works with Bridgit Smith is a multi-media and beach environmental class for ages 6 to 8.
Aug. 2-6, Equestrian art with Stephanie Besaw will teach drawing horses for ages 11 and up.
Aug. 21-22, Create your own story with copper with Virginia Causey will make a pendant or wall hanging and copper etching fun for ages 10 to 13.
