From noon to 1:30 Sunday, Sept. 7, the Coupeville Lions Club is holding its annual salmon barbecue at Coupeville Town Park.

The Lions will be serving wild Alaskan salmon grilled over alder coals, garlic bread, corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw, dessert and beverages.

Tickets are $20 each and are available through any Coupeville Lion,Coupeville Town Hall, Coupeville Chamber of Commerce and bayleaf, or by calling the Coupeville Lions at 360-678-4105.

At 2 p.m., the Town of Coupeville presents the last free Concert on the Cove performance of the season. Jumpin Jive Orchestra will perform.

All proceeds are returned to the community. The Lions Club is comprised entirely of volunteers.
