Couple plead guilty to child porn charges

James Lee Wright, 30, pleaded guilty to production of material involving the sexual exploitation of children. Tracey L. Wright pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of material involving the sexual exploitation of children and one count of possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of children.

The Wrights are scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Thomas Zilly on Nov. 15.

James Lee Wright faces between 10 to 20 years in prison. Tracey Wright faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison on the receipt of child pornograhy charge and up to five years on the possession charge.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, James Lee Wright confessed that he was involved in “sexually explicit conduct with a minor for the purpose of producing digital photographic visual images.”

Tracey Wright admitted that she used her home computer to hook up to the Internet and “received, stored and possessed” child pornography, the U.S. Attorney reported.
