Anacortes, LaConner and Langley have galleries,workshops,festivals and walks in the park. Why can’t Oak Harbor be more like that?

They have restaurants with interesting menus, good food and a glad you came attitude. Why can’t Oak Harbor be more like that?

Ace and Wal-Mart can be counted on for a friendly smile and “how can we help you?”Oak Harbor needs more of that.

Perhaps we should reroute 20 down Midway so the tourists could get a glimpse of Oak Harbor as it might have been, instead of thinking that it’s a big car lot. Without a truly welcoming attitude, it might even be better to bypass it around Oak Harbor.

No amount of promotion money will help if you don’t first have something to promote.
