J.J. Mitchell scored the Wildcats’ only goal with an assist from Dakota Powers.

Stephan Caponey scored three times for the Eagles (2-1, 4-1-2), and Sergio Hall added a goal and an assist.

Oak Harbor coach Brian Thompson said is team “played well in the midfield center but struggled with the rest of the field.”

“We had two shots on goal that were stopped by the keeper (Nick McDonald), who did a very good job for the Eagles.”

Oak Harbor (0-1-1, 0-5-1) continues conference play when Everett (0-2, 0-4-2) visits at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 6.
