The host Arlington High School girls golf team edged Oak Harbor 270-274 on a rainy Gleneagle Golf Course Tuesday, April 12.

The Wildcats posted two of the three best individual scores, but the Eagles carded the next best three to pull out the victory.

Oak Harbor’s Terra Baird and Arlington’s Natalie Mackey led the field with 47s over nine holes; Wildcat Resego Mooki had a 49 on the par 35 course.

Oak Harbor’s Hannah Taylor shot a 56, Jessica Monaghan 58, Makalyn Miller 64 and Suzanne Kaltenbach 66.

The Wildcats head to Chelan to take part in the 19-team Gamble Sands Invitational at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14.
