Local watercolorist RANDY EMMONS placed second in the Northwest Watercolor Society Waterworks Exhibit at the Seattle Design Center.

Local watercolorist RANDY EMMONS placed second in the Northwest Watercolor Society Waterworks Exhibit at the Seattle Design Center. The painting, “Sailing the Cove,” was inspired by Whidbey Race Week. This is the first award Emmons has received from the NWWS. The painting will be displayed in the show until Jan. 6. Emmons’ other work is displayed at Garry Oak Gallery in Oak Harbor, Penn Cove Gallery in Coupeville and Artist’s Remarque in La Conner.
