While we hear so much from one particular individual about what the current administration is not doing for the military, I thought the following might be of interest.
Military Pay Increases for 2005: across-the-board pay raise 3.5, increase maximum hardship duty pay from $300 to $750 per month, increase imminent danger pay from $150 to $225 per month, raise family separation allowance from $100 to $250 per month, plus proposed increase of death benefits from $12,000 to $100,000 by HR bill 292 for 2005.

It is nice to look on the positive side once in a while and get a different view of things going on in the current administration, and not just a one sided slant. An intelligent view can only be reached by being aware of opposing views and then deciding on the position you are taking. When you only look to views and information that supports your way of thinking all of the time, that gets to be pretty one sided and boring.
