Nothing’s “clean” (County gets clean win in plan disputes, May 25) about Island County’s comprehensive plan sweep before Judge David Nichols. The word “clear” would have been a better choice for the decisions which impact responsible growth and environmental safeguards affecting all Island County residents.

Do the commissioners think that the majority of us want any part of Whidbey Island to become another ugly, paved strip like Burlington (the malling of American)? A battle has been lost, but the war continues.
