Feedback: Roundabouts waste money

Where does the city get all its money to make roundabout intersections when they can’t afford to improve their roads?

Where does the city get all its money to make roundabout intersections when they can’t afford to improve their roads? Is this where our increasing property tax money is going to? The areas that the city has picked for roundabout intersections are not nearly as congested as Highway 20. Spending massive amounts of money on items that citizens never get to vote on is redundant.

How about spending more money on beautification of the city instead of backstreet roundabout intersections? How about improving the highways, planting more trees, cleaning up vacant lots and buildings, and planting more wild flowers. Take a good look at that empty pizza restaurant near Safeway, isn’t that pretty? And why does Home Depot have masquito infected ponds surounding it? How many mice and rats live in some of these high grass empty fields around the town, or does anybody care?

Which is more important, pet projects like British roundabout intersections on the back street or the health and safety of the citizens of Oak Harbor?
