Representatives from the ferry system will soon visit local communities to share information and receive feedback from customers.

Washington State Ferries is holding a series of community meetings to provide information, and hear from customers on a variety of issues.

“I’m looking forward to this round of community meetings,” said David Moseley, assistant secretary of WSDOT Ferries Division in a news release. “The upcoming legislative session will be critical for state transportation. I encourage customers to attend the meetings so we can discuss important issues and concerns.”

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback to Moseley and his team. For Whidbey Island, meetings take place at the following times:

• Whidbey Island for Coupeville and Clinton: 6:30  to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, Trinity Lutheran Church, 18341 State Route 525, Freeland

• Port Townsend/Coupeville: Noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, Elks Lodge, 555 Otto Street, Port Townsend, joint meeting with Jefferson County Chamber.
