A section of State Highway 20 is closed in Central Whidbey after a truck hauling frozen fish crashed this morning.
The Washington State Patrol reported that the driver of the truck wasn’t able to stop in time for traffic stopped at the intersection with Terry Road. He drove off the road to the right and plowed through a light pole. The truck came to a rest on its side on the highway.
Nobody was injured.
The accident caused a power line to fall down on the highway. A Puget Sound Energy crew took care of it.
Troopers said the highway will be reopened after the tow truck removes the truck.
