The Gallery Women’s Golf Club is holding a membership get-together at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, to kick off the 2016 season.

Club members will play golf each Wednesday from March 23 to Sept. 28 and will receive special green fee rates on those days. Tee times will vary, generally 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., to accommodate those who are working.

“It’s a fun group that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but we follow the rules and we learn more about golf as we go along,” spokeswoman Rosemary Kunow said. “We have varied abilities, from single-digit handicaps to near beginners, although some experience is desired.”
