At 5:21 a.m., a caller reported seeing a dead horse on the side of Bayview Road.
At 10:46 a.m., cows were reported on Race Road.
At 2:50 p.m., a resident reported that someone broke into a cabin on Saratoga Road.
At 7:28 p.m., a Sparrow Drive resident reported that her husband head-butted her, threw her to the ground and won’t let her leave.
At 8:34 p.m., a Douglas Street resident reported that someone stole her sapphire.
At 9:58 p.m., a caller at a Highway 20 location reported that someone was locked in a port-a-potty.
Thursday, Aug. 12
At 9:52 a.m., an Olympic View Drive resident reported seeing a bear in the yard.
At 1:08 p.m., a caller on Alexander Street reported the theft of copper wire.
At 5:45 p.m., a Copperhead Court resident reported that a Rottweiler charged his property and he fired a warning shot. The dog’s owner is not threatening him.

At 4:17 a.m., a driver reported seeing a possible bear on the side of Highway 525.
At 10:26 a.m., a caller reported that hand tools were stolen from a worksite on Beach Drive.
At 10:26 a.m., a driver reported that a hitchhiker stole his wallet.
At 10:55 a.m., a resident reported finding bear scat at a park on Possession Road.
At 11:21 a.m., a caller reported that homeless people fell down a slope on Jones Road and are yelling for help.

At 9:12 p.m., a caller at the North Whidbey RV Park reported that another camper threatened to beat up her husband.
At 10:59 p.m., a Kettle Street resident reported an ongoing issue with neighbors singing karaoke really loudly.

At 3:26 p.m., a Busby Road resident reported finding bear poop on his property.
At 8:04 p.m., a caller reported seeing a cougar on Newell Drive.

At 1:35 p.m., a Central Whidbey resident reported that a man who lives in the garage won’t leave.
At 3:27 p.m., a caller reported that a woman was being attacked by pit bulls on Smugglers Cove Road.
At 4:04 p.m., a driver reported that a herd of goats was loose on Crescent Harbor Road.
At 6:27 p.m., a driver reported that a shaggy man was punching at passing vehicles on Highway 20 near Welcher Road.
At 10:38 p.m., a caller on Ault Field Road reported that he was unable to get a dog out from underneath a car.
At 11:40 p.m., a caller on Terry Road reported that a truck ran over someone’s leg while it was in neutral.

At 2:19 a.m., a North Whidbey resident reported that her ex-boyfriend sent a threatening text.
At 10:04 a.m., a resident reported that a woman in a black Ford pickup was dumping garbage on the side of Libbey Road.
At 11:23 a.m., a Heller Street resident reported that dead squirrels in the yard looked like teenagers.
At 11:39 a.m., a caller on Cranberry Drive reported that a husky running loose in the neighborhood was attacking other dogs.
At 12:45 p.m., a resident reported that alpacas and goats were loose in a church parking lot on Maxwelton Road.
At 2:27 p.m., a Barque Road resident reported that a gun was stolen from a safe.
At 2:27 p.m., a resident reported that a man in a trailer on Black Road shot a deer and was skinning it.

At 11:18 a.m., a Saratoga Road resident reported that he is writing a blog and has questions about what happens when a car hits a deer.
At 6:40 p.m., a Harbor Hills Drive resident reported that dogs were locked in the house and the key wasn’t working.
