Jerry Goen is for improving the service provided to the public by maintaining the full-time ambulance service at the Monroe Landing station. This service provides a basic life support ambulance with crew 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure quicker response to your medical emergencies. His opponent wants to terminate the service. If this happens, we will have to wait for an ambulance to respond from Oak Harbor or Coupeville, which could take considerably longer depending on traffic and weather conditions. When someone is having a heart attack or some other life-threatening medical problem, every minute counts. Don’t let this service be taken away! Elect Jerry Goen fire commissioner and keep our high quality service.
