Good teachers make a difference

In our children’s combined nine years of learning in the Oak Harbor School District, the difference a dedicated teacher has made to our children’s academic successes is clearly evident. Educators who genuinely care about each child’s welfare also positively influence students’ broader views on school, friendship and adults.

In our children’s combined nine years of learning in the Oak Harbor School District, the difference a dedicated teacher has made to our children’s academic successes is clearly evident. Educators who genuinely care about each child’s welfare also positively influence students’ broader views on school, friendship and adults.

Oak Harbor School District teachers whose homeroom classrooms our children have been fortunate enough to be a part of and who demonstrate exceptional teaching skills include: Stacey Donaldson, Susan Briddell, Susan Jensen, Bobbie Cane, Rob Flack, Jane Johnson and Brian Poole. We’d also like to acknowledge the entire CHE 3/4 Multiage Team: Susan Buntich, Rebecca Ching, Rob Flack, Jane Johnson, Jan Nielsen and Ina Orme, whose commitment in managing ability-based math and reading at the third and fourth grade levels allows students to reach their full potential.

Students with self-motivation, parental support and conscientious teachers are almost always assured success in school and in life. We want to thank all the teachers who epitomize these qualities.
