Glacier Peak stopped the Oak Harbor High School soccer team 4-0 Tuesday, Oct. 20, in Snohomish.
Although the Wildcats have been eliminated from earning a postseason berth, they played hard, according to coach Mike Lonborg.
“I asked them not to give up, and they didn’t,” he said.
Gillian Crossley was one of the highlights for Oak Harbor, playing “one of her better games,” Lonborg said.
Kelsey Karls scored three goals and assisted on the fourth for the Grizzlies (7-2, 8-2-3).
Oak Harbor (0-9, 3-9-1) faces Shorewood (4-6, 6-8) at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Wildcat Memorial Stadium.
