Holiday gift market to benefit Whidbey General Hospital

Unique, handmade gifts for a purpose will be available at Coupeville’s first annual Holiday Gift Market at the Coupeville Recreation Hall on Friday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The market will offer handmade gifts from artisans representing the entire island.

The market will offer handmade gifts from artisans representing the entire island.

Kevin Pardue will feature pre-decorated Christmas trees and garden art; Jack and Rita Van Arnam of Whidbey Island Fudge will sell fudge; Norma Roberts will have her creative Christmas cards and stationery sets; and Barbara Mundell will sell silver jewelry creations.

Lori Miller will sell her snow people; Susan Miles of Maple Hill Soap will feature goat milk soaps; Laura Fitzgerald of Islander Herbs will sell gourmet jams, jellies and spices; Sandy Dupernill will feature leaded glass ornaments; and Jim Warren of Heritage Custom Woodworking will sell cutting boards and more.

A portion of all sales will be donated to the Whidbey General Hospital Foundation.
