How to get ready for Coupeville schools

The Coupeville School District offices will be open as follows for new-student registration: Coupeville Elementary School, Aug. 16 and 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Coupeville Middle and High School, Aug. 23 through Sept. 2 by appointment only. Call the school at 678-4409 to schedule a registration appointment.

Parents/guardians should bring district registration forms available from the school district’s website: www.coupeville.k12.wa.us); the name and address of their child’s previous school (if any); immunization records; a copy of a birth certificate for students entering public school for the first time; a copy of the student’s IEP (if applicable); a copy of the student’s transcript if entering grades 10-12.

If your home is outside the Coupeville School District boundaries, you may request to have your child transfer into the Coupeville School District using the district’s Request for Transfer form. Note that all nonresident students must have this form on file before attending Coupeville schools.

Supply lists are available for download from the home page of the district website.

Sports/activity packets will be mailed to all households in early August. Sign-ups will be in the commons from 12:30 to 3 p.m on Tuesday, Aug. 16 and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18. Bring completed packets and money to pay for fees. Incomplete packets will not be accepted. Payments and paperwork will not be accepted before Aug. 16. Do not mail in paperwork or payments. Students cannot begin practice until all paperwork is turned in.
