The following items were selected from reports made to the Island County Sheriff’s Office:
Monday, Jan. 19
At 6:01 a.m., a caller reported a one-car, rollover accident on Black Road. Two people were trapped in the car and one was bleeding from the head.
At 9:29 a.m., a Lange Street resident reported that a neighbor’s German shepherd got loose and was fighting with her dogs.
At 10:03 a.m., a one-car, rollover accident was reported on E. Crescent Harbor Road. A 71-year-old Oak Harbor man drove a 1995 Ford Ranger into the ditch. He was transported to Whidbey General Hospital with a possible head injury.
Sunday, Jan. 18
At 10:42 a.m., a Penn Cove Road resident reported that hunters in the cove were near a residential area.
At 3:44 p.m., a caller reported that an elderly woman drove her car off Highway 20 and struck a guy wire for a power pole.
At 3:59 p.m., there was a report of a car fire on Ault Field Road.
At 6:32 p.m., a caller reported that a well was vandalized on West Beach Road.
At 9:40 p.m., a one-car, rollover accident was reported on Zylstra Road. A notice of infraction was issued to the driver.
Saturday, Jan. 17
At 3:21 a.m., a Trisha Lane resident reported that her husband was being belligerent.
At 11:16 a.m., a Zylstra Road resident reported that someone stole his mailbox and some mail overnight.
At 5:12 p.m., a Monroe Landing Road resident reported that her ex-boyfriend was harassing her.
At 9 p.m., a caller reported someone stole firewood on Fort Casey Road.
At 9:20 p.m., a caller reported that a possible intoxicated man with a load of wood in his truck pulled over near the caller’s home on Highway 20.

At 7:24 p.m., a caller reported that a couch and cushions were blocking traffic on E. Frostad Road.
At 10:39 p.m., a caller reported that two Hondas were racing on Silver Lake Road.
Thursday, Jan. 15
At 8:01 a.m., a caller reported that a brown horse with a red blanket was walking on Dugualla Road.
At 9:21 a.m., there was a report of two couches on the side of Arnold Road.
At 2:57 p.m., a caller reported that wood was stolen from a location of Devries Road.
At 3:53 p.m., a Hunt Road resident reported that a guy stole her table.
At 5:03 p.m., a caller reported that two large, suspicious garbage bags were sitting on the side of Parker Road.
At 6:38 p.m., a caller reported that a Chevrolet pickup was tailgating a State Patrol vehicle on Highway 20 near Cornet Bay Road.
At 7:05 p.m., a dead cat was reported on Taylor Road.
At 8:21 p.m., a caller reported that a man was sitting on a picnic table and throwing up behind All Sports Pub on Goldie Road.
Wednesday, Jan. 14
At 12:13 a.m., a caller reported that a very intoxicated man was lying in the middle of Highway 20 near Eagle Vista.
At 5:40 a.m., a one-car, rollover accident was reported on Highway 20 near Frostad Road.
At 8:07 a.m., a two-car, non-injury accident was reported on Highway 20 near Sleeper Road.
At 11:58 a.m., there was a report that a brown horse with a blue blanket was loose on Laurel Lane. The horse was running in and out of neighboring yards.
At 4:27 p.m., a woman reported receiving a disturbing phone call.
At 5:07 p.m., a driver reported that a 25 mph sign was shattered on Airline Way.
At 11:11 p.m., a Hemenway Place resident reported that a digital camera and laptop were stolen from the home.
Tuesday, Jan. 13
At 1:43 a.m., a caller reported that people were screaming at a party at Blazer Court.
At 5:32 a.m., a driver reported that bags of cement were on Arnold Road.
At 6:53 a.m., a caller reported that a man was running around drunk on Lake Forest Drive. The caller’s daughter saw him at the bus stop and he said he was lost.
At 7:16 a.m., a Hersig Road resident reported that a man just broke into the home with a crow bar and made a threat.
At 8:46 a.m., there was a report that a “long-haired vagrant” was harassing kids waiting for a bus on Eagle Ridge Road.
At 10:24 a.m., a caller reported that a man is stealing items from his grandmother’s house on Monkey Hill Road while the woman is hospitalized.
At 12:33 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious man was carrying a rifle on Scenic Heights Road.
Monday, Jan. 12
At 8:37 a.m., there was a report that a garage was on fire on Wood Road. The attached garage was destroyed by the flames, but firefighters prevented it from spreading to the house.
At 8:39 a.m., a caller reported that a flower box was on fire on Swantown Road at Sunset Kennel. It was a possible act of arson.
At 9:27 a.m., a Welcher Road resident reported that his AR15 assault rifle and his .38 revolver were stolen from his home.
At 10:30 a.m., a home health care nurse reported that a 87-year-old woman was on the ground inside her home on Woodcreek Way.
At 11:08 a.m., a woman reported receiving a call from a stranger who said he wanted her.
At 1:42 p.m., a burn complaint was reported on Fort Ebey Road.
