At 4 a.m., a caller reported that a man was trying to look in the back window of a Highway 20 residence.

At 7:52 a.m., an injured blue heron was reported on Quinault Street.

At 1:46 p.m., a Highway 20 business reported that a man tried to use counterfeit bills.

At 6:05 p.m., a caller reported that a man was making unwanted sexual advances on Ernst Street.

At 8:24 p.m., a caller reported that a “partially deceased” rabbit was in the roadway on Southeast Sixth Avenue.

Wednesday, Feb. 10

At 5:32 p.m., a Putman Drive resident reported that a suspicious person with a clipboard was walking around the neighborhood.

Thursday, Feb. 11

At 7:37 a.m., a caller reported that a disorderly man was scaring children on Regatta Drive.

At 2:02 p.m., there was a report of people in a field on Ely Street with dog and “rifles or bows.”

Tuesday, Feb. 16

At 11:54 a.m., a person on Northwest Second Avenue reported that a “noncompliant” woman was stabbing herself with pins and other items, biting herself and banging her head against the wall.

At 3:45 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious man was trying to convince a child to go with him on Heller Street.

Friday, Feb. 19

At 11:17 a.m., a caller reported that a toddler was found running down Crosby Avenue in pajamas.

At 12:25 p.m., an Oak Harbor woman reported that her ex-husband was cyberstalking her and harassing her.

At 12:52 p.m., a Kalama Loop resident reported a “cat problem” in the neighborhood.

At 1:55 p.m., a resident reported that a man grabbed a “no trespassing” sign on Bayshore Drive and threw it in the water.

At 5:12 p.m., a caller reported that a male was lying on Midway Boulevard next to a bike.

At 5:27 p.m., a Regency Drive resident reported catching a heron with an injured wing.

At 2:02 p.m., a caller reported that two men appeared high and were acting weird on Northeast Kettle Street.

At 11:23 p.m., an employee at a Midway Boulevard business reported that a customer was watching porn on his laptop.

Sunday, Feb. 21

At 2:38 p.m., a caller reported that a group of boys were pretending to fight with “windshield washer wands” at a Midway Boulevard gas station.

At 5:42 p.m., a caller reported that a Silverberry Street resident was about 10 pets of her own and three or four foster dogs.

At 9:08 p.m., a Highway 20 business reported that a man tried to pass a fake $100 bill.

Monday, Feb. 22

At 10:15 a.m., a caller at the high school reported that a maintenance worker chased two raccoons into a tree.

At 12:07 p.m., a driver on Northwest Almond Loop reported seeing a male subject carrying two Amazon boxes and a manila envelope. The man took off running after seeing the caller.

At 12:33 p.m., a caller on Northwest Cherry Hill Loop reported the theft of two Amazon packages from the porch within last 30 minutes.

At 1:35 p.m., a resident reported that a group of teenagers was fist fighting on North Oak Harbor Street.

Tuesday, Feb. 23

At 2:07 a.m., a Southeast Ninth Avenue caller reported that a stranger came into the house, apologized and left. The caller said the stranger was outside, lying at the door.

At 7:59 a.m., a caller reported that a woman was screaming profanities and flipping people off on Northeast 16th Avenue.

Wednesday, Feb. 24

At 12:52 p.m., a caller reported that a security guard was assaulted on Southeast Eighth Avenue.

At 4:53 p.m., a suspicious subject was reportedly seen in the bushes on Northeast Koetje Street.

At 5:40 p.m., a caller reported that woman hit her child in the face twice at an office on Cabot Drive.

At 2:56 p.m., a caller reported that a person was pushing a shopping cart full of purses and wallets on Northeast Koetje Street.

Saturday, Feb. 27

At 10 a.m., a Crosby Avenue resident reported a missing chicken.

At 11:42 a.m., there was a report of a drunk person walking into traffic and screaming at cars at a bus stop on Southwest 24th Avenue.

At 1:11 p.m., a counterfeit $100 bill was reported at a Highway 20 business.

At 7:26 p.m., an employee at a Highway 20 business reported that a man was watching pornography in view of other customers. The man refused to leave.

Sunday, Feb. 28

At 2:22 a.m., a resident reported that 15 young men were pacing up and down Southwest Fourth Avenue.

At 1:13 p.m., there was a report of juveniles stomping on flowers and taking signs down on Bayshore Drive.

Monday Feb. 29

At 11:17 a.m., a caller on Southwest Barlow Street reported that someone threw a tire iron though a window.

At 2:35 a.m., a caller reported finding a machete on the ground on Oak Harbor Street.

Tuesday, March 1

At 8:16 p.m., a Regatta Drive resident reported that a suspicious man knocked on his door, tried to shake his hand, asked “remember me?” and tried to go inside.

Thursday, March 3

At 7:38 a.m., a caller reported that a disorderly man was yelling and cussing at everyone on Bayshore Drive.

Friday, March 4

At 3:14 a.m., a Harrier Circle resident reported that his girlfriend was cheating on him and scratched his neck and face.

At 8:26 a.m., a resident reported that a man was “going nuts” in a shower in the men’s bathroom near the RV park. The man tore the door off.

At 9 a.m., a caller reported that an elderly man ran up to another man and attacked him on Northeast Midway Boulevard.

At 7:08 p.m., a possibly intoxicated caller reported that his brother and friend had a gun and will use it at a Highway 20 location.

At 7:23 p.m., a caller reported that an elderly man was in the middle of Southeast Sixth Avenue.

At 8:53 p.m., a caller reported that a belt of shotgun shells was found in the bushes along the highway.

At 6:29 p.m., an Oleary Street resident reported that a man claiming to be affiliated with the Department of Defense was selling “Hooked on Phonics” door to door.

Sunday, March 6

At 7:48 a.m., a Northeast Seventh Court resident reported that someone broke into the house and stole a coin set.

At 2:18 p.m., a driver on Southeast Midway Boulevard reported that his son had his hand stuck between the seat and console.

Monday, March 7

At 7:55 a.m., a resident reported that a man with a baseball bat was trying to take a child at a home on Southwest Sixth Avenue.

At 4:07 p.m., a woman on Northeast Queets Street reported that her boyfriend had been drugging and torturing her. The caller said the man had been keeping her against her will and she believes he is a terrorist.
