At 11:31 p.m., a caller reported an employee of a Highway 20 business pinned down a shoplifter. The two are fighting and the suspect was trying to get away.

At 8:18 p.m., a caller reported a woman crying on the front porch of a SE Neil Street home.

At 7:25 p.m., a SE Pasek Street resident reported someone appeared to be casing houses in the neighborhood. Someone parked in his driveway and walked around his house. The caller said the person is a crackhead.

At 11:34 a.m., a SW London Terrace resident reported tires on the car were slashed.

At 12:07 a.m., a caller reported he was assaulted at a SE Bayshore Drive location.

Sunday, Oct. 3

At 10:13 p.m., a SW Sixth Avenue resident reported a burglary.

At 3:41 p.m., a SE Barrington Drive resident reported someone burglarized the house.

At 3 p.m., a caller reported someone stole the plates off her car while it was parked at a Highway 20 location.

At 10:08 a.m., a caller reported a car stolen from an E. Whidbey Avenue location.

At 9:11 a.m., a caller reported a couple fighting at a SW 6th Avenue location.

At 9:09 a.m., a caller reported a man living aboard a boat near SE Catalina Drive threw his wife overboard.

At 10:04 p.m., a caller reported a man lying on the sidewalk near the intersection of E. Whidbey Avenue and NE O’Leary Street.

At 7:22 p.m., a caller reported money and other items stolen from a car at a SE Barrington Drive location.

At 4:54 p.m., a caller reported a motorcycle accident on N. Oak Harbor Street.

At 12:22 p.m., a caller reported seeing two children on the roof of a Ridgeway Drive home.

At 8:34 a.m., a Wood Road resident reported her brother has scissors and he was trying to stab her.

At 6:29 a.m., a caller reported a man was sleeping by the picnic tables near a Highway 20 location.

At 10:34 p.m., a caller reported money missing out of the deposit bag at a SE Eighth Avenue location.

At 7:55 p.m., a caller reported a woman shoplifted a couple of drills from a Highway 20 business.

At 6:19 p.m., a NW Second Avenue resident reported someone stole a bear chain saw carving from his hope.

At 5:08 p.m., a caller reported a baby seal lying on the boat ramp at a SE Catalina Drive location.

At 5:02 p.m., a caller reported a phone line across NE First Avenue.

At 4:21 p.m., a caller reported two young females throwing rocks across the street near the intersection of NE Midway Boulevard and NE Fourth Avenue.

At 3:17 p.m., a caller reported three kids left a Highway 20 business without paying their bill.

At 2:38 p.m., a caller reported the meter at a SW Ulysses Street location was smashed. It looks like someone threw rocks at it.

At 12:20 p.m., a caller reported a car accident at the intersection of Highway 20 and SW Scenic Heights Street.

At 11:01 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on SE Hathaway Street.

At 10:39 a.m., a caller reported the padlock at a NW Second Avenue location has been cut off.

At 8:59 a.m., a caller reported a combative student at the high school. The student has been hitting classmates.
