The following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:
Thursday, Sept. 4
At 4:14 a.m., a SE Fourth Avenue resident reported that a 19-year-old man was on LSD. Another man restrained him.
Wednesday, Sept. 3
At 1:02 p.m., a caller reported a sick or injured cat at the play area of Fort Nugent Park. The cat wouldn’t lift its head.
At 8:09 p.m., there was a report that a man with a Superman logo on his shorts was out of control at E. Whidbey Avenue.
At 8:52 p.m., a caller reported that a man on the roof of an old bank building on SE Bayshore Drive was making a lot of noise with a nail gun.
At 11:42 p.m., a caller reported four boys with a pink backpack were on top of dumpsters at a location on Highway 20. The kids then hid in the bushes.
Tuesday, Sept. 2
At 8:45 p.m., a caller reported a man with a bike was lying in trees off NE Fourth Avenue.
At 11:11 p.m., a woman called 911 and then hung up. Upon recall, the SE Ireland Street resident said she was startled awake by a loud noise outside her apartment, but then realized it was her that made the noise.
Monday, Sept. 1
At 3:39 p.m., a caller reported that kids with pellet guns shot his car on S. Beeksma Drive.
At 8:32 p.m., a caller reported that a man was sleeping and possibly living outside a SE Barrington address.
At 11:26 p.m., a woman on E. Crescent Harbor Road said she was having a really bad night.
Sunday, Aug. 31
At 11:29 a.m., a man reported seeing a man with a receding hairline on N. Oak Harbor Street who matched the description of a subject he saw on “America’s Most Wanted.”
At 2:01 p.m., a woman reported that another woman threatened to shoot her in the face on SE Ireland Street.
At 6:49 p.m., there was a report of a very intoxicated, middle-aged man carrying a white bag in a parking lot on Highway 20. The man stumbled and fell.
Saturday, Aug. 30
At 4:47 p.m., a NW Dory Drive resident reported that a car was shot with a BB gun.
At 6:13 p.m., a caller reported that a teenaged boy in mesh shorts was acting bizarre on SW Erie Street. The boy was yelling obscenities, scratching trees and kicking hydrants.
Friday, Aug. 29
At 6:08 a.m., a SE Ely Street resident reported that a tan 1992 Honda Accord was stolen.
At 2:32 p.m., a caller reported that a motorcyclist on NW Heller Street was standing up on the cycle and not wearing a helmet.
