Tuesday, Aug. 5

At 2:14 p.m., a Southwest Robertson Drive resident reported that he wanted to know who keeps calling 911 and reporting that his dogs are barking when they’re not really barking.

At 6:40 p.m., a caller reported that a scruffy man wearing “beach glasses” was carrying a sleeping bag and backpack on Southeast Pioneer Way.

At 6:57 p.m., a Northwest Falls Creek Loop resident reported that a stray cat gave the caller’s daughter ringworm.

At 9:40 p.m., a caller reported that four people were doing a “striptease” on top of a car on Southwest Barrington Drive. The caller said no one was exposed “at this point.”

Wednesday, Aug. 6

At 8:30 a.m., a caller at a Barlow Street business reported that a homeless person was talking to himself about ice cream trucks.

At 11:54 a.m., a caller reported that a woman in a white Honda was hitting her head against the dashboard on Northeast Goldie Street.

At 4:04 p.m., a caller reported that someone dumped a huge, overstuffed chair on Southeast Cabot Drive.

At 6:21 p.m., a caller reported that an elderly neighbor on Northwest Columbia was paranoid and kept spraying vinegar on everything.

At 1:06 a.m., a caller reported that a woman outside on Southwest Kimball Drive said she keeps seeing owls everywhere.

At 9:20 a.m., a caller reported that a gull without tail feathers was unable to fly next to State Highway 20.

At 4:40 p.m., a caller reported that neighbors on Southwest Harrier Circle have ducks they keep on the back deck. The caller said the ducks are “noisy and stinky.”

At 11:44 a.m., a caller on Northeast Cordero Place reported that a rabbit was “hanging around.”

At 2:55 p.m., a South Oak Harbor Street resident reported that “Dookie” keeps driving by.

At 4:07 p.m., a caller reported that a fort that was torn down on Southeast Bayshore Drive has been rebuilt. The caller was suspicious about why it keeps re-appearing.

At 4:59 p.m., there was a report that someone stole football pads from storage units at Fort Nugent Park. They were found in a “homeless camp” in the woods behind the park. The caller said it looked like they were being used for beds.

At 9:03 p.m., a caller on Highway 20 reported that a neighbor cut him in the face with a “straight blade.”

At 10:59 a.m., a caller reported that a woman who lives in a tent in the back yard of a home on Northeast Second Avenue was shooting squirrels with a high-powered pellet gun.

At 4:22 p.m., there was a report of a man lying on rocks near McDonalds.

At 12:56 p.m., a caller reported that a neighbor woman was attacking someone with a chainsaw on Southwest 24th Avenue.

At 5:17 p.m., a caller reported that a man who urinated in his pants was lying under a tree near Walmart.

At 11:18 a.m., a caller on West Whidbey Avenue reported that someone left a message on his vehicle that said, “Die you black bastard.”

At 8:15 a.m., a caller reported that a couple people were sleeping in the bushes at the Beeksma Gateway Park.

At 12:26 p.m., a caller reported that a woman was screaming “like a maniac” and punching cars on Southeast Fidalgo Avenue.

At 9:19 a.m., a resident reported that a man was running down Barrington Drive in socks.

At 10:51 a.m., a caller reported that someone has been sleeping on playground equipment at a State Highway 20 location and leaving behind knives and cigarettes.

At 5:14 p.m., a caller reported that a driver of a black Ford F-150 tried to run him down on Southwest Loerland Drive.

At 3:14 p.m., a caller reported that two men were pounding Olde English beer behind Albertsons.

At 7:16 p.m., a Southeast Barrington Drive resident reported that he couldn’t get his drunk mother-in-law out of the hot tub.

At 7:57 p.m., a caller reported that a woman in a bathing suit was hitting a man in the backyard of a Southeast Barrington Drive home.

At 8:10 p.m., a caller reported that the driver of a blue Chevy Silverado punched out his car windows after a fender bender on Highway 20.

At 9:30 p.m., a caller reported that about 20 abandoned kittens were in a metal shed on Northwest Crosby Avenue.

Monday, Aug. 18

At 2:05 a.m., a bicyclist reported that a driver wasn’t wearing pants in a white panel van on State Highway 20.

At 6 p.m., State Highway 20 residents reported that a redheaded man was sitting on their porch, eating food and sipping coffee. The man refused to leave.

At 2:18 p.m., there was a report that a disheveled man may have soiled himself in a Pioneer Way parking lot.

At 1:33 a.m., a caller reported that people on the roof of a Southeast Midway Boulevard building were making an “unholy racket.”

At 9:15 a.m., a man reported he was assaulted on a transit bus.

At 9:05 p.m., a Crosby Avenue resident reported that her father punched her in the face.

Friday, Aug. 22

At 9:15 a.m., a Northwest Crosby Avenue resident reported that someone stole a lawnmower and left a note behind.

At 2:52 p.m., a caller reported that a kid with a machete was breaking cans and glasses in the gazebo at Windjammer Park.

At 4:46 p.m., a caller reported that 12 cases of “military motor oil” was stashed behind a shed on Windshake Lane.

At 6:35 a.m., a caller reported that a 1- or 2-year-old child dressed only in a diaper was walking in the roadway on Southwest 24th Avenue.
