Coupeville Elementary School will be hosting a kindergarten registration night 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday, May 22 in the school library.

This parent-only event will cover topics including: What you can do to help your child be ready for the first day of school; what is kindergarten; what is expected of a kindergartner; transportation; meet the teachers; registering for kindergarten and getting and staying involved in your child’s education.

Students who are or will be 5 years-old by Aug. 31, 2014 are eligible for enrollment.

Pre-registration will begin Monday, April 21.

In order to register, parents must have a copy of the child’s birth certificate and proof of vaccination.
