Thursday, April 17 At 11:23 a.m., a caller reported that two transient men were trying to steal a jacket from a third transient on Barrington Drive. At 11:36 p.m., a caller reported that transients were harassing customers at a State Highway 20 business. At 12:12 p.m., there was a report of a bearded man urinating at a bus stop on Southwest Erie Street.

At 9:26 a.m., a woman reported that someone sprayed something suspicious on the onions in her grocery bag when she was shopping. She said she keeps chains on her doors to keep “those people out.”

At 2:28 p.m., a man reported that someone was “bugging him for drugs,” but he wouldn’t give details.

At 4:18 p.m., a caller reported that a man was walking on Southeast Eighth Avenue with guns under his coat.

 

 

 

Saturday, April 19

At 10:25 a.m., a caller reported that a male transient was fighting with a female transient in front of a Highway 20 store.

At 6:32 p.m., a man claiming to be the king of Monaco reported that he has information about a murder.

 

 

 

Sunday, April 20

At 4:27 p.m., a Northeast Fourth Avenue resident reported that an unknown boy was camping out in her backyard with a dog.

At 9:11 p.m., a caller reported that a man tipped a port-a-potty over and then stole mail from a mailbox on Southeast Jerome Street.

 

 

 

Monday, April 21

At 10 a.m., a caller reported that a red sleeping bag was on the beach off Pioneer Way and someone might be in it.

At 1:05 p.m., a Swantown Avenue resident reported that her mother threatened her with a knife.

At 1:40 p.m., there was a report that a loose pit bull jumped through the open window of a car parked in a Highway 20 parking lot.

At 1:45 p.m., a caller reported that a man was running and dancing around on Midway Boulevard, stabbing trees with a knife.

 

 

 

Tuesday, April 22

At 9:46 p.m., a dead otter was reported on Southeast Pioneer Way.

At 10:01 a.m., a Southwest Harrier Street resident reported that someone put a sign on the back of her vehicle that said “home wrecker.”

At 10:07 a.m., a dead seagull was reported on Southeast Ely Street.

At 11:42 a.m., a caller reported that four men, possibly transients, were drinking alcohol around a tent on Beeksma Drive.

At 5:24 p.m., a caller reported that a small dog was foaming at the mouth and growling at people at Windjammer Park.

At 6:59 p.m., an employee at a Southwest Sixth Avenue facility reported that two patients were arguing and one was brandishing a cane.

 

 

 

Wednesday, April 23

At 12:13 a.m., a woman reported that her roommate had been raped.

At 1:44 p.m., a caller reported that people are trying to sell steaks in the State Highway 20 area.

At 2:38 p.m., Walmart reported that a woman was in custody for shoplifting plant food, boxers, spray paint and house numbers.

At 3:58 p.m., a Southwest Ulysses Street resident asked whether he can “dispatch” an injured rabbit himself.

At 4:27 p.m., a caller reported that a highly intoxicated man was having trouble walking straight near Walmart.

At 4:38 p.m., a Northwest Crosby Avenue resident reported that her 5-year-old child was caught stealing Crayons and USB cords from his classroom.

At 6 p.m., a woman reported that her son’s 7-year-old friend was very violent towards him and stole his glasses.
