Ryanne Knoblich of Coupeville and a member of the Island Flyers put in a solid performance at the Region 1 and 2 Trampoline and Tumbling Championships April 29 in Las Vegas.

Ten Flyers participated, and all earned at least a fourth place or better in their divisions in the competition that featured athletes from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.

Knoblich took second in double mini trampoline and tumbling and fifth in trampoline.

The Flyers are coached by Cindi Quinn of Oak Harbor’s Leaps and Bounds Dance and Tumbling Center. The national finals are in Tulsa in July.
