Don’t blame Coupeville High School soccer player Abraham Leyva Elenes if he would like to play Forks in every match.
After earning a hat trick in Coupeville’s 3-0 win over the Spartans April 4, the senior struck for four goals in the Wolves’ 7-2 victory in Forks Monday, April 11. He also tallied a pair of goals in the teams’ only meeting last season.
Levya Elenes’ efforts helped Coupeville win its third straight match after beginning the season 0-4-1.
The match wrapped up the non-league portion of the Wolves’ schedule. Coupeville begins Olympic League play when Port Townsend (2-2-1) visits at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, April 14.
Levya Elenes received plenty of help in the latest win over Forks (1-6). Zack Nall scored twice and Ethan Spark once.
The Coupeville junior varsity also picked up a win, 2-1, at Forks with goals from Laurence Boado and Andre Avila.
