Lions honor Students of the Quarter

The Coupeville Lions Club honored its Students of the Quarter, Allison Dickson and Loren Nelson.

The Coupeville Lions Club honored its Students of the Quarter, Allison Dickson and Loren Nelson.

Dickson is a member of National Honor Society, maintains a 3.92 GPA, enjoys physiology, chemistry, English and weight training.

She is in honors English and U.S. history. She served as president of her freshman class, has been a cheerleader for two years and this year is captain. She is also active in Big Brothers and Big Sisters and serves her church.

She plans to major in exercise physiology at Brigham Young University in Idaho this fall.

Nelson is also a member of National Honor Society, maintaining a 3.98 GPA, and has served as an ASB officer for three years. His favorite subjects are math and gym.

He’s currently in a University of Washington English class and honors calculus. He has played soccer and tennis all four years of high school. He also is active in Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

Nelson plans to major in mechanical engineering at the University of Washington this fall.
