I have to say that I am outraged at Al Steinsiek’s comment on his grandson. The last time I checked we lived in the land of the free, which included free speech. I grew up in Oak Harbor and can actually say that I am glad to not be a resident now with people like him living there.

I was raised with parents that may not have believed in what my siblings and I did or paths we chose but my parents and grandparents supported us 100 percent. Without family on your side no one really is supported. I would have to say that verbal abuse is just as bad if not worse than physical. Words can never be taken back!
