A wrecked motorcycle and debris lie next to a pickup after a collision Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Wanamaker Road and Prairie View Avenue near Coupeville on Whidbey Island. A woman, Chrysta Brodt, driving a Suzuki GSXR, was westbound on Wanamaker Road when she collided with a Dodge pickup being driven by Harold McAnulty. Brodt was thrown from the motorcycle and ended up in a nearby ditch. Lt. Mike Hawley with the Island County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was conscious and seemed to have only minor injuries. She was transported to Whidbey General Hospital.
