Island County officials are warning that the county’s website might crash if a mass of curious folks log on to watch the Barefoot Bandit’s sentencing hearing in Coupeville Friday.

As a result, the company that runs the county’s video streaming service is encouraging people to go directly to the firm’s website, www.avcaptureall.com. It has a link to the live stream of the Colton Harris-Moore hearing, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The county contracts with AV Capture All to broadcast pre-recorded meeting of the Island County Board of Commissioners online. The link is available at the county’s website.

Harris-Moore, the internationally known burglar and aircraft thief, is expected to plead guilty to 30 charges related to crimes he committed in Island, San Juan and Snohomish counties.
