Melissa McCumber was promoted to branch manager for Whidbey Island Bank’s Oak Harbor Bayshore branch.

She has more than 29 years of banking experience, 16 of those years with Whidbey Island Bank. At the bank, she’s been a human resources specialist, senior consumer loan officer and a financial services officer.

McCumber is active in the community serving on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Island County, treasurer for the Kiwanis Club of Oak Harbor, and on the board of the Boys and Girls Club of Oak Harbor.
