Ferry service across Admiralty Inlet on the Port Townsend/Keystone route has been canceled for the remainder of the day. The ferry serving the route, the Steilacoom II, had to be taken out of service so work crews can make repairs, according to information provided by Washington State Ferries. The nature of the difficulties was not immediately reported.

Motorists can use the Mukilteo/Clinton and the Edmonds/Kingston ferry routes as alternate ways to get to and from the Olympic Peninsula.
