In April, owner Eric Hansen said he decided to open a new clinic on the island for their patients. A lot of their residents travel off island to visit their clinics in Everett, Bellingham, and Burlington and this way they can save themselves a commute.

The new location is at 1090 Southeast Pioneer Way.

Hansen has been practicing dentistry in the Pacific Northwest for almost 30 years. He began working with his dad at this same practice, but his father has since passed away. The extension of this clinic is a way to keep his father’s legacy going.

To start off, the clinic will be open by appointment only. As business increases, they will start to keep regular business hours, Hansen said. The office will have its own lab where staff can manufacture dentures and partials as well as preform exams.

Besides Hansen working as a denturist, Cody Carson will work at the clinic as another denturist and Jennifer Ra will be the dentist on staff.
