Tryouts for the Oak Harbor Basketball Club’s AAU teams will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. Nov. 17 and 18 at Oak Harbor Middle School.

Tryouts for boys in the fifth and sixth grades will be Tuesday, Nov. 17.

Seventh- and eighth-graders will tryout Wednesday, Nov. 18.

A mandatory parents’ meeting will be held each night of tryouts at 7:45 p.m.

The teams will play in the SWISH League with games in Mount Vernon, La Conner and Sedro-Woolley. This is not a recreational league; the teams are for boys who wish to play competitive basketball.

Practices begin Nov. 23; games, which will be played on Saturdays, begin Jan. 9; and the season ends March 30.

The Oak Harbor teams will also take part in two tournaments.

All athletes must be register and pay the $150 fee before the first practice.
