I was totally appalled at the non-judgmental perspective your newspaper took with the story, “Store sells punk, not apologies.” Perhaps it would be prudent to take a moment and educate you and your readers as to what filth and smut Dave Willis brags about being able to “special order” and peddle to your children.
Having just watched the presentation at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, of medals to those who were wounded in the war in Afghanistan, let me say that I have much praise for all the troops serving in the military, and much sympathy for those who are wounded or give up their lives to protect us each day, month, and year.
Education in the Coupeville Public Schools is not “fully funded” by the state of Washington and needs your support to fund a wide variety of activities and programs.
I noticed in the News-Times of Jan. 9 where a new police chief from Oklahoma is coming here, partly because the beauty of the Northwest “attracted he and his wife.”
