Jewely designer AKEMI WALKER will be Penn Cove Gallery’s featured artist for June.

The public is invited to meet her and learn more about how she creates her wearable art on June 28 from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. The gallery is located on Front Street in downtown Coupeville.

Walker creates chains and chain mail, and weaves or knits with sterling silver. She also works with clay made from microscopic fine silver particles.
