Monday, July 7

1:22 a.m., a female at the entrance of the Island County Jail said she killed someone in Clinton. Police believe subject has mental  health issues.

10:51 a.m., a caller at Northeast Lasalle Street said their son went on vacation with his grandparents and is now refusing to come home and the grandparents aren’t cooperating.

1:06 p.m., a caller on South Main Street reported two backpacks left unattended at the bus stop.

1:07 p.m., a caller reported someone attempted to break into the back door of the Tyee during the night.

4:32 p.m., a caller at Prairie Center Red Apple reported concern about a dog left inside a vehicle.

5:39 p.m., a caller on Northeast Third Street reported someone messed with her mailbox and now it won’t close.

Tuesday, July 8

1:33 a.m., a woman was at the entrance of Island County Jail and claimed she was raped the night before. Police believe she has mental health issues.

9:42 a.m., a caller at the Coupeville Methodist Church reported a teenage male might have broken into the church.

1:49 p.m., a caller on Southwest Terry Road reported a court order violation.

4:13 p.m., a caller on Northeast Fourth Street reported a window and door were broken at her residence.

4:49 p.m., a caller on Northwest Bakerview Place reported hearing three loud bangs and screams afterward.

5:30 p.m., a caller on South Main Street reported hearing a loud bang.

10:37 a.m., a caller on North Main Street reported possible fraud.

11:54 a.m., a caller on Northeast Park Road reported an ongoing problem with people speeding.

5:05 p.m., a caller at Whidbey General Hospital reported a disorderly patient.

Sunday, July 13

1:20 a.m., a caller at Whidbey General Hospital reported an extremely intoxicated female just left the building.

3:56 a.m., a caller at Whidbey General Hospital reported a patient was being disorderly and trying to use a laundry rack as a weapon.

6:41 p.m., a caller with Harbor Kayak Rental reported a female rented a kayak for one hour and had not returned.
